These DVD cases are new covers I illustrated for three Wes Anderson movies, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Moonrise Kingdom. I chose color pallets from each movie for the DVD cases, using the golden yellow across all of them to bring the set together. The illustration style is reminiscent of cut paper to recall the key material aspects and objects featured in each movie. It also compliments the simplicity and uniqueness of the scenes in the movies that make them so successful and beautiful. The inside of the cases are illustrated with patterned elements from the movies with short, special quotes from each.
